Nigal Events is the flagship division of Nigal Group in Tiruchirappalli, built to handle the largest and most complex events in Trichy. It covers corporate event management, concerts and live shows, exhibition management, marathons and tournaments, institutional events, and brand and product launches.
The lifestyle exhibition
In 2020 we launched a Pongal edition lifestyle exhibition in Trichy, against advice that the city had no buying crowd for premium and luxury products. We knew our city and what it spends. Trichy now runs four to five lifestyle exhibitions a month, and organisers from Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore now treat it as a real market.
Concerts
Nigal launched Premji's first ever concert, staged inside the city rather than on its outskirts. That response opened the door to working on concerts by Vijay Antony, Karthik and Andrea. Artists tend to head to the bigger cities. We push them towards Trichy instead.

Building the exhibition market in Trichy

Big artists gravitate to the bigger cities. Someone has to make the case for Trichy, show the potential and then deliver an event that justifies it. Putting Premji's first concert inside the city rather than on its outskirts is what changed the conversation.
